“Please hold and your call will be answered in the order it was received!” *insert annoying as hell music and a hold time of roughly twenty minutes plus twenty minutes plus twenty minutes plus. . .*
Ugh. I’m not going to reveal the company I have been a customer for over fifteen years and have spent way too much time on the phone with (okay, I lied, it’s SPRINT). Hours and hours and hours since the beginning of April trying to get something resolved (which I am currently on hold for, AGAIN) and in suspense to find out if it has been taken care of. I’m just a wee bit frustrated. Oh yeah, no lying, a LOT frustrated! Oh yay! It’s still not settled and I get to wait some more to speak with another supervisor! And then another 48 hours to find out if it’s really been worked out! And another two billing cycles to see if if the mistake is fixed! I don’t need to write, really. I’m having too much fun talking to reps around the world.
“Have I resolved your issue?” gazillionth rep asked.
“No offense to you but I will believe it when I see it.”
“If you don’t mind, I’d like to put you on hold so you can speak with my supervisor.”
*me nearly pulling hair out*
Yeah, just a little redness creeping in. I’m done ranting now. Of course, had I been enjoying a large, Christmas mug full of coffee, there is a great possibility this blustering storm would not have made it onto my comp screen
. So you say it’s good I can’t drink my coffee because I write more? Say it again. . .to my face . . . after over a week of deprivation and after being on hold for a ¼ of the month. . . I dare you
